Sure enough, I started paying attention and found a pile on the counter and a pile on the floor. I used to keep my sugar in a glass canister, but I was constantly frustrated by the fact that I my measuring cups, even the 1/4 cup, wouldn't fit into the canister and I had to use a spoon to scoop the sugar (and flour, brown sugar, rice) into the measuring cup. It was just too inconvenient.... But not as inconvenient as vacuuming sugar off the rug and floor.
And they came out beautiful!
The Entertainment was also delicious.
Have you ever LOVED a song, but you just couldn't remember the words, so you make up strange sounds to take their place? Sam is a master at this art.

By far Pete and my favorite "Sam moment" I could tell right away what he was singing, but I had to tell pete. so cute
You might even be a rock star!!!
Those cookies look delish!! What's the recipe?? And, I gotta say huhhhhhhhhhh ruhhh ruh ruh. I hope you got that.
The recipe is the Nestle Tollhouse one on the bag of Chocolate Chips PLUS one cup of oats. And I don't mix it the way it says, I throw it all in the bowl and then turn the beater on for two minutes. I'm too lazy to beat and stop and add and beat and stop and add.
Oh, and the song is "That's Not My Name" by the Ting Tings.
Jacob used to swear that the lyrics to a certain song were, "I will put my eyes out and surrender." I believe the actual words were "I will put my hands up and surrender." Gotta love it.
I love you SAm. Grandma
I do that same recipe, but I also add about a teaspoon of cinnamon. I feel like the cookies come out so much better with some oats, don't you?
I have no idea what the song was (even though you told us the name of the son), but it was cute nonetheless.
Before we looked at the comments we had to look up the song - we found it easily. Eric (yes Eric) thinks he's heard it - otherwise we were not familiar but now, we will be humming it for days!
next stop...American Idol auditions? I would so vote for Sam on my cell phone!
Oh and the sugary toes...been there done that!
