Such a sweet child.

The other day while I sat on the bed stalking people through their blogs, Sam sat next to me with our "wedding album". He was very quiet. I said, "Aren't those pictures pretty?" He said, "Yeah." and pointing at the picture, which happened to be the traditional shot of the rings- you know, where she puts her hand on his and you know it's love - Anyway, he points at the picture and says "Yeah, but your hand looks fat in this one."
Later, THAT SAME NIGHT - he's sitting on my lap and he's looking at me with a bemused expression and I'm thinking: Aww, he loves me so much. And then he laughs and says, "Ha ha, you're growing a mustache!"

Did I say he's sweet? I think I meant what a little jerk face!

Gosh I love reading your blog, Julie! I just laughed out loud and woke up my snoozing husband next to me when I read that. That was too funny! Oh to be blunt like that and still have people think you are cute. Only works for a child. Must be nice!

Sweet, sweet Sam, what must he be thinking when he looks at auntie Jeanna. I laughed out loud, too. I like to think I am honest, but I could never be that honest without a fist fight (on H's part, to defend me).

I love you Julie, fat hands, moustache and all (because I have those things too!)

Oh Julie, you do have an interesting fellow on your hands. I love reading about you and SAM. I agree with Jeanna, you are wonderful, beautiful and intelligent. Sam will learn tact as he gets older.... I hope. Maybe I shouldn't tell you that because I have teenagers and I think they are jerks on a pretty regular basis. Maybe that's what mothers of boys have to deal with. We don't have to do all the melodrama like with girls, we just have to deal with them being jerks and having no tact hmmm....

kids!! They sure know how to be honest or should I say blunt? I've had kids tell me that I have sores all over my face. (This is because of my pimples. What do you say to that? Yup.. I know.. I still look like a teenager even though I'm a mother of two children!!) At least you know you can ask him if an outfit makes your butt look big, and he'll tell you the truth!! maybe I should borrow Sam when I go shopping!! :)
