Back in June there was a free fishing day, which meant we could fish anywhere fishing is aloud in Utah, without buying a fishing license. So, we loaded up our chairs and our fishing gear and headed to a little pond near our house. Sam loved it. Lola would have had more fun had we let her out of her stroller to run around. She would have dove right into the lake though so there was no way I was letting her out. I did walk her around the pond once though. It was fun and the weather was beautiful, but alas, we didn't catch a thing. A little couple showed up about and hour after we were there and they caught three fish in 15 minutes. It was really bugging Sam. He went over to ask what they were using. Sam brand of bait as us, just a different flavor. I think our problem was our hook though because the fish were eating our bait, just not getting snagged on the hooks for some reason.
