Sam's Christmas List

Sam has yet to write a letter to Santa... He may or may not be struggling with his beliefs right now. But he has been talking about three things in particular. A Cybertron Prime, which we knew was some kind of transformer. A Razor Pocket Rocket which we thought shouldn't be too bad because it obviously can fit in your pocket, right? And Super Smash Bros. Brawl, which is a video game...
One day Matt and I discussed these over the phone while Sam was at school. While we discussed we looked them up on the Internet... We laughed and laughed.

Cybertron Prime $154.96

Razor Pocket Rocket $269.99

Super Smash Bros. BRAWL $47.00
If he didn't have a problem believing before, he really will now. My only hope is that he never writes that letter.

I'm sorry to hear that Sam's testimony is shaky. One day soon you will be able to have a realistic conversation about his wants/needs for Christmas. Until then, enjoy the magic.

And, I'll try to keep my big-mouthed kids away from him this year....at least with regards to certain Christmas secrets.

Again, I've been waiting since 6 a.m. for this post. Am I slowly going insane? Or am I already there?

Well, of course the pocket rocket is out. Too dangerous and someone will steal it anyway. But, that Prime. Ya got to get him the Prime.

I found Smash Brothers Brawl on Craigslist for $20 once. My friend's getting it for her husband for Christmas.

Just so you know, if you really want to get it for Sam for Christmas, you could order one for cheap online, borrow our Smash Bros game, and give Sam our copy if the new one doesn't arrive by Christmas.

That is SO funny! Sam's got some rich taste. I kinda can't wait for my kid(s) to get all excited and ask Santa for stuff....but, then I don't want to have to pick and choose what to give them...and heaven help...find something different to get them and hope they are not packing their bags when all the presents are open.

There is a "spoken" rule at our house that if the parents would never get it for you, Santa honors the parents wishes and there for Santa would never get it for you either. That took care of a lot of gifts, but probably took all the excitement out of Santa as well. But - as soon as they said they didn't believe we always countered with "Then I guess Santa won't bring you anything..."

We have a son who always said it couldn't be. Too logical a thinker - about everything for that matter. But that same child took a running leap onto the Mall's Easter Bunny's lap and then froze the entire time he was sitting there. When he got off he said in a shocked voice "The Easter Bunny's got bones!" Santa? - hmmmm, maybe - but the Easter Bunny? now that guy's for real.

Wow. Too bad it won't really fit in his pocket!!! Good luck with all of that! :) (I thought a dog was bad . . . and the baby brother on his list last year!) Thanks for the muddy buddies, too. We've been enjoying them!!! You guys are great to have as neighbors.
